Can't do it....

... I can't finish the cleanse.

I'm a little disappointed in myself, but that Salt Water Flush killed me. I thought I could handle it, but I was so wrong. I was so prepared, I read a lot, I had everything in my house that I would need for the cleanse...

But I just wasn't prepared for it.

And on top of that, Emery usually gets to bed at about 7:30 - 8:00 pm, so for us to start the flush at 8:00 pm and spend the next 2 hours intermittently running to the toilet is too much for me to bear!

Luke says he will tough it out. I made his concoction this morning in a big 1.5L bottle and sent him out with another 1.5L bottle of water. We both drank the Laxative Tea this morning before he went out.

I still haven't had a bowel movement today. It blows my mind because yesterday the only bowel movement(s) I had were with the Salt Water Flush. Luke had three throughout the day before the Salt Water Flush. Does that mean there's more junk in his bowels than in mine? Or does it just mean his colon is reacting better to the Laxative Tea than mine is? Or is it some other random reason? I have no clue...

I had a shot of 2 tbspn lemon juice, 1 tbspn maple syrup, and 1/2 tspn of cayenne this morning. About 30 minutes ago I had an apple. I have a 1.5L bottle of water (6 cups) that I'm determined to go through today. I will still have the Laxative Tea for the next couple of days as I slowly re-introduce foods.

I'll head out later to pick up some organic veggies to make my own veggie broth, and some extra fruits, veggies and salad ingredients for coming off the cleanse.

Helena said the salt water flush gets easier. I can't imagine that it does. I can't imagine wiping out while surfing and swallowing all that water. It was so disgusting. ((((shudders))))

I guess we'll see. Luke is carrying on, and will do the salt water flush again tonight.
